Playgroup

A home becomes restrictive for growing children and most often the child is raring to grow. This we all know is a highly impressionable age. Our playschool's thematic approach offers a plethora of experiences. This process happens in a child centric and friendly atmosphere. Activities offered: Children in UKg are exposed to Karate, Folk Dance, Singing. All these are group activities and they help in giving children an understanding ,they learn to take group instruction and also get into a discipline. Above all they enjoy themselves.

Primary / Middle / Senior School

We have adopted the ICSE curriculum. We continue with activity based education for classes I to IV. Class V upwards the children are slowly weaned into formal education and the balance never tips. Though there are no textbooks all classes have term wise assessments. Children are exposed to various activities during school. Though our system we are able to sustain interest and motivate them to acquire knowledge because of which they emerge confident. We believe in catering to individual needs. In our children's words "The child doesn't have to adjust to the school, FKS adjusts to suit the children. That makes our school seem like home."

Children choose activities from 3 sets of activities namely Physical; Performing; Sports.
Edu-sports, Physical training, art and craft, clubs, projects, nature walk are all common to everyone. These activities expose the children to various activities. They help them to explore and check out their skills. Many develop the skill further some are content with the exposure. We want them to develop hobbies and pursue them.

Physical Activities :
HaHand Ball / Karate / Table Tennis / Skating / Carroms / Sepak / Chess/ Hockey / Athletics.

Performing Arts :
Kuchipudi / Classical Singing (Vocal) / Guitar / Key Board / Drums / Violin / Mrudangam / Western Dance / Folk Dance.

Sports :
Basket Ball / Volley Ball / Foot Ball / Throw Ball / Athletics.

Projects :
Projects in various subjects are done at school itself, so that children put their creative abilities, expression, and teamwork to good use. Once a month projects are given which are required to be done at home. Again here we would like the children to hone their skills.
